USP-grade bacteriostatic water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol for reconstituting lyophilized research compounds in the laboratory. Multi-dose sealed vial.
- Volume: 3ml, 10ml, or 30ml per vial
- Preservative: 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol
- Grade: USP
- Sterility: Sterile, multi-use vial with rubber septum
- Container: Clear glass vial with flip-off cap
Laboratory Use
Bacteriostatic water is a laboratory reconstitution solvent for lyophilized research compounds. The 0.9% benzyl alcohol acts as a bacteriostatic preservative, inhibiting microbial growth and allowing multiple needle punctures of the vial septum without compromising sterility.
Laboratory Handling
When reconstituting lyophilized research compounds, add bacteriostatic water slowly along the wall of the vial. Gently swirl (do not shake) until dissolved. Follow your facility protocol for concentration and storage of reconstituted material.
Storage and Handling
Store unopened vials at room temperature (15-25C) away from direct light. Once opened, store at 2-8C and use within 28 days. Do not freeze. Inspect for particulate matter or discoloration before each use and discard if either is observed.
For research purposes only. Not for human consumption. Not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
