Maple Research Labs provides independent third-party Certificates of Analysis (COA) from an independent third-party testing laboratory. Each COA states the compound, the lot, the measured HPLC-UV purity and the date tested, and is published here in full.
This page serves as a centralized index of all current COA documentation across our product catalog. Researchers, institutions, and procurement departments can use this page to verify the testing status and purity data for any compound before placing an order.
How Our Testing Process Works
Our quality verification process includes the following steps:
- Sample submission: A sample from each manufactured batch is sent to an independent third-party laboratory for testing.
- HPLC analysis: High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) determines the exact purity percentage of the compound.
- COA generation: The laboratory issues a Certificate of Analysis with the purity result, batch identifier, and a unique verification key.
- Public verification: Every certificate in the table below is linked in full. Reports hosted on the laboratory site additionally carry a digital verification record issued by the lab.
- Product page linkage: The COA document is linked directly on the corresponding product page as COA verification is completed.
Every compound with a current certificate is listed below with its report number, lot, measured purity and test date, and the certificate itself is one click away. Compounds still awaiting a certificate are listed too, and are not held in stock for immediate dispatch.

Understanding HPLC Purity Results
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is the gold standard for peptide purity analysis. The purity percentage indicates the proportion of the target compound relative to total detected substances in the sample. Research-grade peptides are generally specified at 98% purity or higher. Maple Research Labs publishes the measured HPLC value for each tested batch in the table above rather than a single blanket figure, so researchers can confirm the exact purity of the compound they intend to use.
The HPLC method separates individual components of a sample based on their interaction with a stationary phase and mobile phase. Each component produces a distinct peak on the chromatogram, and the relative area of the target compound peak determines the purity percentage. According to analytical chemistry standards, HPLC achieves accuracy levels exceeding 99.5% for peptide quantification.
Why Independent Third-Party Testing Matters
In-house testing creates an inherent conflict of interest: the company manufacturing the product is also the one certifying its quality. Independent third-party testing eliminates this conflict entirely. The laboratory has no financial relationship with Maple Research Labs beyond the testing fee. Every certificate is published here in full, so the result can be read directly rather than taken on the supplier’s word.
A 2023 analysis of the research peptide market found that fewer than 15% of suppliers provide independently verified batch-specific COAs. Among those that do, fewer than half offer public verification of the testing results. Maple Research Labs is among a small number of Canadian suppliers that meet both criteria.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I verify a COA from Maple Research Labs?
Each COA includes a unique verification key issued by the testing laboratory. Visit the laboratory verification portal, enter the verification key, and the system will confirm the test results, batch identifier, and testing date.
What happens if a product does not have a current COA?
We are actively expanding COA coverage across our full catalog. Products with current third-party verification are clearly marked on their product pages. Check the COA status table above for the latest verification status of each compound.
How often are COAs updated?
A new COA is generated for each production batch. When we receive a new batch of any compound, a sample is sent to the independent laboratory before the batch is listed for sale. COA documents on product pages always reflect the currently available batch.
Can I request the full COA document for my order?
Yes. Contact [email protected] with your order number and we will provide the batch-specific COA documentation for each compound in your order that has completed independent verification.
